Our Story
In the beginning…
Upon leaving the advertising business and after creating custom gifts in her garage for several years prior, Melinda Cantor launched Only You Gifts in Islip, NY in 1998. Since its opening, Only You has produced thousands of custom invitations and unique engraved gifts, as well as and corporate promotional items for events such as births, christenings, weddings, anniversaries, birthdays, holidays, and more. However, the custom invitation portion of the business needed more room to flourish as the clients demanded more.
In 2017, Melinda Cantor Designs in Bohemia became the offspring of Only You focusing primarily on the business of printing and designing custom invitations/stationery. During the pandemic in November 2020, the showroom temporarily relocated to Stony Brook and in January 2023 found a new home in beautiful Port Jefferson Village.
Melinda Cantor Designs is a boutique stationery showroom/studio that specializes in the design and printing of high quality wedding invitations and day-of-event accessories. Offering both ready-to-order invitations and custom designed suites.

Melinda, owner/designer and stationery expert is thrilled to be heading into her 25th year in business creating beautiful invitations and stationery.
Treating every event as if it were her own, she puts 110% of her energy and creativity into every design with care and precision.
Using her background in advertising/marketing, she takes a unique approach to each event to add the details that make each and every invitation special.
From the various types of printing to the exquisite paper and material choices as well. All with each client's input and vision.
